    Default Late Report MLK Day 1 Tourney

    Hit the lake friday night afterwork to find a good crew of Team 57 hanging out and working on Tapersteve's motor. We grubbed like kings as we always do when camping the night before a tourney.

    We had a great night by the campfire bsing and coming up with our game plan for the next morning. Then I realized, uh oh, it is already well into the morning!

    At about 2:00 a.m. I forced myself to get a couple hours sleep before I spend the day kayaking the entire lake in search of my nemisis. Mr. DD trout! Lol

    Well it wasn't meant to be the next day. I had no problem trolling up my limit but the size just wasn't there for me this time. A stringer full of 11/2-2# fish. Not a bad day but not what I was after. but I got to spend the day on my favorite lake with some great friends.

    Great job to the Bite-on staff for putting on another great tournament!

    that's why you buy a "water resistant or water proof" camera, wife got me one mini h wanted to take an underwater picture with it once, told him ahhh no lets not try it
