Real hardcore anglers shout "FEESH GET!" when they hook up.

Aside from me not knowing Japanese, they are pretty entertaining, I cant lie. They fish so many interesting looking places over there. And ALL of their gear is so freakin sick!!! Well, besides the vests! LOL.

lol I'd have to agree with you on the vests. They do get in the way when retrieving, but they are handy if you surf fish.

I think they would get in the way more than help, in my case. Im pushin 250lbs, and those pockets just might not be placed in a good position for someone with my gut! LOL.

Check out some of the fly fishing stuff too if vests are your thing.

They also make some pretty functional shoulder/wasit packs as well.

Forget the vest, where can i get that girl? She can hold all of my tackle for me and follow me around all day and hand me what i need..

The vest cost from $100 -$300 for one of these bad boys.

Shimnao fishing vest 21,000 Japanese yen, The conversion is about $210 not including tax and shipping. So your looking at least around $250 get it here. Then the cost of all your lures in the vest plus another $200

your walking around in a $450 vest plus your rod and reel

this vest is 32,000 yen. I think this is more for ISO fishing, jetty fishing.

From the videos I've watch it doesn't look to me the vest pockets get in the way.

Look at all the lucky crafts you can take with you on a trip.

Ive watch guys ISO fish, rocking fish and surf fish and I haven't seen anything bad.

The fly fishing vest are different, look at the shoulder part of the vest, there's no support. And they don't float. These Japanese vest are also floating life vest. Well unless you put to much heavy stuff in your pockets.
    .

i currently use the WFO fanny pack. It's ok but.....
