Help a Hawaii Fisherman

I'm going to be in the bay area 9/17-9/23. Hoping to get in a few hours of fishing. Any info on a public pier/jetty to fish off of near Menlo Park? Don't care what I catch, not planning on keeping anything. Thanks in advance.

I grew up in the Menlo Park area, and there's not a LOT of Pier Fishing in that area, BUT i would suggest that you Contact the Palo Alto Yacht Harbor. I understand that there are some facilities available there.

And don't EAT ANYTHING you catch :lol: out of that bay....

Thanks for the info. I am going to have a car so anything within 1/2 hour or so would be ok, if anyone else has any suggestions.

Well, if you've got a car, one of my FAVORITE places to go (my dad taught me to fish there) is head over the hill to Half Moon Bay. There is a little town a couple of miles from HMB called Princeton, and they have a great pier, and there is a lot of good fishing there. BEAUTIFUL area, too. That would be MY choice!
