    Default Good day at Skinner...12/16/12

Went back to Skinner after a recon last week and had better success this time around. Got to the gates at 530 n waited till they let us in. Once in we went straight to rent a boat n make bait. This time we came prepared with an aerater to keep the shad alive longer n live shad is the key to our success this trip. After getting our share of shad we went straight to the same spot as last week n got one in the boat 10 minutes later about 5lbs. For the first hour of soaking our bait we put 7 fish in the boat all between 5-8 lb. My girlfriends son caught his first ever striper a nice fat 8.5 lber n was the biggest of th trip. We ended up with 11nice stripers to take home when all was said n done. It was an awsome trip with plenty of action n the weather even cooperated with us until we left it didn't rain.

I took some pictures but don't know how to upload from phone to my post yet. I'll ask my nephew to show me later or any help from any of u guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
