    Ok enough of that stuff . Iam getting :oops:

    I will edit this post tomorrow with the grilling instructions . I use charcoal and a Webber 22" Kettle bbq. That really has alot to do with the out come of what ever you BBQ. Propain is alittle different but I will give instructions on how to grill a tri-tip on that stlye grill also. I really do prefer charcoal. Sorry for you all having to wait so long.

    Sorry for just replying, my account was AOL for a while. Its working again! Woo hoo! I'll be going out to buy the stuff hopefully tomorrow and i'll try to grill it up this weekend before my son football game. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Johnsfishing, Its a cut of beef. Santa Maria Style tri-tip as been around for years. I just gave it my own twist. Next time your Mom goes to the super market go along to help her out and to check out the beef section . Almost every store will carry that cut of beef. Ask the butcher to show you the tri-tip .
