I think this assumes all the initiatives will pass. Even if they don't, we still get screwed by all the stuff hidden in Zerøcare.

Using the amount of $75,000.00 and my zip code, the increase is close to $5,000.00 pr year. So much for not raising taxes on the middle class eh? But what this calculator does not include is the pending Bush tax cut expiration in January. It also does not include the carbon use taxes, capital gains taxes, and estate taxes(death tax) sure to come. I know liberals also want to introduce a "mileage tax" as well, and judging by the way voting went in this election, they're probably going to get it. I'm sure there is plenty more, but those are just off the top of my head. Another thing it doesn't calculate is the inevitable rise in the cost of energy and subsequent cost of gas, heating, cooling, and food as a result of the rising cost of energy. Private enterprise lost big yesterday, and if what many many small and medium business owners said holds true, that they were waiting for the results of this election to make decisions regarding hiring and firing, unemployment is going to go up.
