    Default Palm Springs

    Heading to Palm Springs for the weekend. Not really my thing but the family is excited. Does anyone know of any fishing areas near. Thanks for the help.

    Other than the Salton Sea and tributaries, there's not much out that way. Ninja bassing on golf courses. Or head back up to Lake Hemet.

    As Marley said, not much round there - there is a small pond in Joshua Tree (mainly for kids to "catch the thrill of fishing" - its stuffed with small blue gill etc. I live in 29 Palms, I'd suggest going to Perris/DVL/Hemet as they are all about 1.5 hours from 29, so about 1 hour from Palm Springs.
