Default ARE THE DORADO STILL HERE? Not for us it seems.

    Friday out of Dana point.
    Water temp 69.1 - 70.2
    Clear
    3 foot swells 6 - 10 seconds apart
2 foot waves until about 11 am then some 3 footers and larger.

We traveled 20 miles south by southwest then another 10 miles back east and then another 4 miles south
Did not see any KELP. We metered a couple of spots with some fish at which we trolled around for a couple of hours.

Water got rough and choppy at 2 pm / some waves coming over the bow so we headed back hard into the north wind. Had to keep the speed below 20 knots.

This is our 3rd attempt to get into the Dorado fray and we were not successful. (My wife did have one hook up 15 days ago)

Are they still in our area????? Are we too far north?

Thanks, Tight Lines and God Bless.
