Short trip. Lake opened over an hour late, last time it opened late as well. This a common thing for this lake? Haven't been many times...

Anywho, got in, launched, got a striper on the jerkbait shortly after launch.


Then a few bursts occured and I sent in the topwater, got a good burst at it but they didn't take it. Next time I'll size down the topwater, perhaps.

After this there was top action along cliff sides within the cove, no real boiling action I saw, or anyone else from what they told me. Got no interest over the next while. Got a bit windy about then.

Think I'll go evening on Friday.

The lake WILL be opening at 6:30am sharp...I've already spoke with Tammy and she will be there personally to open up.
