    Default Noob Toober at the castaic lagoon

    New to the site and first post here, How is the float tube action at the goon? Anybody tube the lower lake at castaic with success? I'm new to Castaic Lake and have fished the right side near the docks just a couple of times with 1 small bass caught and figured a tube would help get me out to the deeper parts. I just bought a 'new to me' fish cat 4 and some fins and cant wait to get out there (work/wife permitting ).

    Never fished it, but really wanted to try. I heard they have some good big fat bass in the lagoon though.

    Useing terms like "Noob Toober" leads me to believe that you play more MW3 than fish..as I do. Welcome to the board and yet another addiction to feed. You are looking in the right place to get an angle on improving you game.
