Default BBL 9.16.12 New Moon bite

The bite was definitely on today, much better than last week. Trolled for 12, C&R'd all but the bleeders. Sometimes the needlefish single hook gets so F'd up in the jaw it just tears em up. Mix of stockers and some nice pink holdovers to 1.5lbs. Morning bite was definitely better than afternoon, but they did bite all day.
Also, PB'ers were much better behaved this week, good safe boating by everyone out there today from what I saw. Lots of whoops and screams from the kids blowing by on tubes, looks like fun! Wind whipped up a bit around noon for a few minutes, then again after 2, but nothing unmanageable. What a beautiful day! Was surprised to see the thermo on my truck drop all the way to 40 at 6am after I passed Running Springs. Fall is on the way guys!

Sounds nice and cool up there compared to my flat valley. I may hit you up for some recon info on BBL.
