Default GoPro Cam and mounting it on a float tube

    Hi Y'all,

I just picked up a GoPro Hero2 Outdoor version cam and planning to use it with my float tube. Anyone know what the best and most secure way of mounting it on the float tube? It comes with a head strap, but I rather not use that while tubing.

Any suggestions on how you mount yours on would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ur best bet is to build a pvc Rod holder and add the mount.look up advanced Float Tube rigging.

Thanks... one of the accessories is this three-way pivot arm. I have a extra rod holder strap for my tube. I'll try to ghetto rig one up and see how it works. Appreciate it.

The camera itself isn't waterproof, but it comes with two cases. One that is waterproof and one that isn't. The waterproof one doesn't record sound all that well though.
