Great report as usual Ron. Went on the enterprise yesterday because they had been targeting the dorado, at least for part of the trip. Saw one guy with a small tackle box. What a shock when he opened it and it was filled with bobbers, small bait hooks and some trout lures. He only had a spinning reel with about 10 pound test. Looked like about a third of the people on the boat had rented rods. Fortunately there were only about 20 on the boat. Fishing was pretty bad and I struck out fishing plastics only but Andy did give out rainchecks, so that was at least something. haha

Your kind of fishing Ron, Sculpin and Sand Bass, and not fishing 300' for Cod. Good job!

    Hi shioda,

Way to score a pass ....... great day on the water a plus ...... catching ..... that's extra !!

The guy with the Trout lures would have been the only guy to hook up if you found them !!!!!!

    Hi Tunaslam,

Actually, I don't like Sculpin that much but what's the alternative .... 300 feet of Slimy Grouper !!!!

Gimme them Bass .... ya !
