Thread: Are inflatable rafts considered floats?

Default Are inflatable rafts considered floats?

This has been confusing me. I am interested in getting an inflatable (Sevylor HF 280) to customize, but when I look up info on lakes they mention kayaks and float tubes but not rafts. Are the inflatable rafts considered among those of kayaks and/or float tubes? Or are they personal boats and need to pay the full boat launch price at specific locations? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I tried to take my buddies 14 foot inflatable boat (with troll motor) to a few private lakes to be turned down by then all. I would make some phone calls to find out with your usual AOs allow them, before you spend the money
