Another trip to New orleans
Just got back last week, was out there for 6 days with 4 days of offshore fishing. Last year was redfish and speckle trout, I went late in the year(Nov) so we had to fish the bayou. This year was all about the Redsnapper, Cobia, and Kingfish.
This is where we anchored from, the rigs.
Here's a shot when we were trolling for Kingfish.
A few laps around the rigs, look what we ended up with.
OOh! That Kingfish was so nice, it nearly blinded my cousins in-law.
I caught a Redsnapper twice the size but couldn' t find it in the fish compartment. All and all we had fun, except for the day I got seasick. I HATE getting seasick, that's twice now. I took some motion sickness pills before we headed out, but didn't help with the 2-4 seas.
