    I think I read somewhere that they are allowed, but I just want to be sure.

    Yes but you need to go through the boathouse and I think there is a 5 or 10 dollar fee

    I think they're allowed, but warm spots are closely monitored.

    $10 launch fee or $100 for annual pass which is really from about late April to October. So half year.
