He is using bluegill I personally saw it. But what does that matter when he's already poaching fish in the first place. It took me months to get my first five pounder out of there because I don't cheat. If this was a large body of water I.e DVL or mead then I would feel a little differently about the use of live bait but not in a small city lake that's just lame man.

If u don't call the Cal Tip # u have no right to complain, regardless if they come out our not. If u and others call, the local Warden will at least realize something serious is going on.

I recommend taking photos or videos, because a DFG Warden will eventually call u back if u leave a # with Cal Tip, and they can use your vids or photos as evidence. I know this because I took photos several years ago and the Warden had me email them and told me later on that it was enough evidence to bust the person.

I have caught several nice bass in that lake over the years and have taken my kids there to fish. I only use artificials to catch bass. I hate the fact that people are poaching those small lakes. I hope he gets caught.

I will be writing DFG a nice letter about changing some of these restrictions. Mainly in small ponds and lakes in OC.

Technician, your the man. I almost regret you posting this but after all we need to make this aware to everyone. DarkShadowess, you have no class. You must be broke to want to eat these bass. Warm water bass . Right... I dont mind people taking a few bass here and there. But taking 5 bass, all 4lbs and bigger is just a joke. This lake is small, you will destroy this lake in no time. I fish here daily , and i see guys doing stupid crap all the time. No argument needed girls, I will be seeing you there.

Call Cal Tip. If they show up or not, calling is the best you can do, so why not?
