None of my Brigade are involved in any nefarious activities, except for a bit of trolling, he he.

You guys upset more people then you could ever imagine. I had several friends of mine PM me wondering about you guys, so if this was all a big joke the jokes on you. No one I talked too would ever appreciate anyone of the bucketbrigadeers to ever comment on their treads again!!

I find a lot of this thread very funny. It is amazing to me that some don't get the "joke" based on the individuals that are involved in the Bucket Brigade.

Let's see, about the only fish I will keep these days is a striped bass and occasional trout, no my freezer isn't overloaded with multiple limits of fish, no I don't use bluegill for bait in fact I don't fish with bait, I've eaten one Largemouth in my life (yucky poo!), I've never used a net to catch a fish, I don't snag, I've never deep fried a Condor, Eagle or harpooned a manatee. Yes I have enjoyed an occasional great white shark fillet but hey everybody's got their vice!

    Relax and have fun.

Noobs, really. I think all you BBC guys are totally in the wrong . yes i had a good laugh last night, practically cried. Sorry we actually care about our fisheries and 2nd homes. even if you guys are joking that logo is just tasteless and so is you guys pulling this stuff. Pretty sure technician posted this to make awareness of a problem, not to figure out that the BBC is full of it and has too much time on there hands to mess with people .

We are all ethical anglers who practice C&R. The Brigade was founded to make fun of people who would actually join such a group. We try to stay in character, but unless you understand the irony, the humor is lost. So consider yourselves educated. With that in mind, please feel free to come beat us up at our imaginary meeting, ha ha ha! Or you can join the crew...

    Is Eisenhower C&R?

Because if it's not, and the limit is 5, then what the gentleman is doing is completely legal, as long as he has a license and is catching them without breaking regulations. This is America!

Remember, the DFG sets limits because they feel it is ok for everyone to go home everyday with those limits without affecting the ecosystem, and who are we as anglers to tell them otherwise.

Skyler, looks like we have a venue for the next Bucket Brigade Bonanza!

The way the original post was done it inferred via the title of this thread and the content of the post that taking 5 LMB's over 17" was poaching, that was incorrect, now if the fisherman also is using live bait obviously that's a problem but many times on this website (especially when discussing City Lakes) people are calling legal take of fish poaching and if that occurs there are going to be contrary responses.

True statement. But the point of the matter is that it is not right. And we should do something about it . Not mess with people.

5 bass all over 17" seems way too much >? Agree?

and yes i would call that poaching in my eyes. everyone is saying if the dfg blah blah blah. DFG is obviously not doing much, and has not changed much in a while. It is actually our duty as fishermen to keep an eye out and to help with our fisheries.

I know can see you all have Trolling capabilities but no fishing knowledge or experience . And thats fine just keep it at your lake. Not a fish Nazi, just would like to see local fishermen use their heads a little bit. I see your side of this, it is not illegal but pretty darn unethical. dont you agree>?
