Sarl 6-30-12

So i finished work a little early and decided to head out to SARL for the afternoon session. Got to the spot and set up. It was really slow at first with not even a bite. Once it got dark is when it started to pick up and i got a few bites. Didnt land my first cat till around 8:00pm. They werent so close to shore so i really had to get the bait out there. I landed a few more cats and eddie the lake guide came by and asked how i did. I told him i had caught a few and he asked me if i wanted to take a picture so i said sure. I had 4 cats when he took the picture. He also gave me a few discount coupons. This was around 10:00pm. It was pretty dead after that and the truck came by telling every one the lake was going to close soon. So i started to pick up my stuff. A few minutes later my pole gets hit again and i land my 5th cat which completed my limit. So it wasnt a bad night after all. The biggest cat was a little over 4# which made me mad later because i didnt enter the jackpot. I later found out the jackpot winner fish was 3.75#.

Thanks. The people to my right and left didnt catch anything. How ever the people that were in a motor boat right in front of me did catch a few also.
