Actually to be honest i have yet to see a fire near where i live this year. And ever fire season i can usually the smoke(normally the ash and flames) coming over the mountain. Last year and the year before that the flames were so close that they evacuated everyone up to about a half mile from where i live. The good thing was that they took water from apollo park. So all i had to do was walk up to the mountains and grab free grilled fish. YUM!
