    Default Mixed Bag,LBC/N. SAMO

LBC yesterday w/arrival time 6am. to an overcast cond. untill about

12pm. Water was colder than usual, and did not expect very much,

yet did Ok considering marine layer and no real good bait presence.

The fish pictured were caught at Cherry Beach. Tried Belmont Pier

area for about two hundred yards of it on the sand throwing the drop shot

with GULP MINNOW for the Skunk . Went over to try the bay side and

Stinkin KIDS !!!! all over the place !!!!

Seems like when the lifeguards go on duty (9am.) the STINKIN !!!

school kids hit the bay !!! BUS LOADS OF - EM !!!

So anyways, here is a short pictorial of a short catchin session !

Today, Arrived N.Samo A.O. 6am. to overcast Conds. and 2ft. waves,

with loads of Miro- Weed in the mix !!! Did not matter really, being

it was a super low tide at that time, and therefore figured if I was gonna

catch much of anything then in that area, was gonna be around some

Boiler Structure if at all, or at least it might be the best bet ?

Super low tide is not very good for grabbin the Crabbies in the Quarter

size variety in this area, and first dig with my hands ran into a bunch of

    these,

Did not know these things have Roe too

Consequently, decided to go with some good Mussel meat for the days

fishin session. Was going to call this post " Boilermakers & Medication "

but people would have thought I was drinkin "Boilermakers" and taking

Meds. while fishing Boilermaking perch and feeding them

out of a Med. bottle is more like it !!!

Caught a couple of Buttermouth perch, and a couple of reg. perch

    on the boilers.

This Perch was caught, south of the crab and boiler area, where it was

overrun with Micro- Weed all over the place !!! ONLY !!! Way to

catch anything in this circumstance was to do some pinpoint casting

into some small openings in the kelp, in order to get the bait down !!!

Very challenging, but was pretty surprised and satisfied at how I could

manage to hit the mark !!! It was like shooting hoops at the free throw

line in basketball !!! Only pictured one, but it was WFO if you could

    dunk the shot !!!

Gotta wait ten more days to fish now, cuz of work, but it will be worth it

because an Ex- Military Co- Worker is going to let me go on the BASE

to fish with him AND WE ARE GOING TO KILL - EM !!!

Nice job FS! Looks like you had different kinds of 'hazardous' conditions where ever you went...cold water, kids, kelp.
Way to pull some fish out of it all! Hope you have a great 4th and good luck on the BASE...hope you knock em dead!
