Default Cats During the Day at the Vine?

    Hi All,

Anybody having much luck with the cats during the day? I'm a trout guy but want to try catfish this summer and am thinking about going out tomorrow; from what i understand if I'm going out during the day i need to look for shady spots or areas with underwater structures...does that sound about right? Using mackerel and worms should be OK, just let them sit on the bottom?

Anybody have any favorite vine daytime spots for cats?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

What's up ahab? Don't no if you got the answer you we're looking for but the times I've had luck during the day, I just kept moving around structure tell I found groups of them. I would typically stay in a spot for 20 to 30 minutes amd leave if no bites. Fly lining mackerel is always a great bait. I would use heavier line at least 20 pounds when fishing around structure. Good luck!
