Are there bass in Jackson Lake in Wrightwood?

i know there are trout...but are there bass also? will be camping there soon

No bass. Never have been in the forty years I've been going there. They completely drained it down two years ago to remove the reeds that choked the lake and there were none found according to the USFS biologist. Some stunted Bluegill and goldfish. Pretty soon water temps will be too warm to plant trout and they will stop till it cools off. Sadly, because of people dumping Goldfish into the lake, it has become overwhelmed with Hydrilla and another exotic aquarium plant that is taking over.
