Did Loomis fix that handle/reel seat issue that was affecting the NRXs?

one thing for those who are considering purchasing NRX, DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY SELLERS. shimano will not honor ebay receips for wild card. and wild card can not be transferred once they have been registered. im stuck with one with no wild card and dont want this to happen to any members here that are not aware of their wild card program.

Well, with all the people abusing of the warranty policy, I could totally understand Shimano being more strict with it.

I can't tell the number of people who slammed their rods in car doors and deemed it 'normal wear and tear' and got new rods from Shimano. Apparently the buck stopped there.

Although they are not transferrable, the store doesnt know so you will still be able to use the Wild Card. The Wild Card is meant to be use at tackle shop. In case there is no local tackle store that carries the NRX then you can send it in.
