Buy the color coded map they have in the store at the lake. It’s extremely accurate. I think it’s $12

the color coded map with a google earth overlay is the only way to go. it takes a lot of hard work to get things lined up according to contour chages ( A LOT of hard work!) but it will repay you with some epic fishing trips and a true understanding of what the lake has to offer. most people wont take the time to disect structure like that but i'll tell you; its amazing what you'll find out. you'll learn more about spot on spot cover just by staring at the images in photoshop!

Here’s an example I made of what Matt’s talking about.

Matt - I’m not sure how you’re doing it but, there’s an easy way. I’ll run it by you soon.

And this is the same map that’s on the Navionics chip in my Lowrance. So, when you overlay it and make a mark you can import it to your graph. Print out the picture for reference and your golden.

here's how ive been doing it. i wish there was a way to put these on your head units and utilize them on the water instead of having notebooks.
