LA River Delta 5/18
Got off work early and took out the boat. Heard a report of some Butts being caught by the small marina near the Queen Mary launch ramp. Got some 8" Dines at SP bait.
Did about 6 drifts and a couple by the cruise ship for 1 raked bait.
Hit the S side of Pier 400 for 3 drifts for nothing. The wind was really blowing.
Did a final drift inside the SP wall for a 22" Hali.
The low slack tide didn't help.
Red slider with 4 oz torpedo, 4' leader, 1/0 nose hooked and a rat trap treble hooked near the anus.
Water average 63 and was 67 at Fish Harbor, Terminal Island.
