FNN Private Message SPAM

I know this post is going to get moved by the mods and I'm sorry to intentionally cause them more work (thanks for the hard work guys - I love this site and really appreciate what you do) but I'm not sure where's best to post this and forcing it to be moved may get the awareness I'm seeking.

On Monday May 14, 2012 I received two private messages (one from @jefffisher562 and one from @adamsv7) promoting other websites.

I haven't seen such messages in the past and maybe it's just a coincidence, but I'm wondering if others have been seeing similar activity.

Personally I don't appreciate such private messages. I get marketed-to enough as it is. I'm happy to ignore ads on this site if it helps keep it going but direct PMs is obnoxious.

Anyone else seeing similar PMs?

On the message click the little triangle on the lower left it will go to the mods...

I also got a PM from adamsv7 promoting a sports website. He had no post history but started PMing people.
