    Default Elizabeth lake on the fly Rod

    We hit Elizabeth lake for about two hours with the fly rod using woolly buggers landed 8 crappie and missed a bunch of bits and missed hook sets
    i guy next to us gave us two stocked trout Click image for larger version.

    Nice! Where were you fishing? Did you drag the buggers on the bottom?

    we were at Elizabeth lake. it was a little wind we tossed them out and let them drift with the wind and bam they were just nailing them
    on a five foot leader and an indicator they were as close as five foot out we were fishing from five feet out to about thirty feet.

    I wonder how big the crappie get in that lake.I forgot how to get there.

    have they been stocking that lake with trout recently?
