Porta-bote: Looking to rent before buying

Hi All,

I have been looking at buying a porta-bote for some time. Looking at the Porta Bote due to lack of storage, and only looking to use it a few times a year. We go to mammoth at least once or twice a year, and i live very close to Skinner, and Corona lake.

Looking at either the 12' or 14' version.

However, I would really like to try one out and fish from it before buying one.

I know it is a long shot, but does anyone in the Temecula area have one that I could check out, and possibly rent for a few hours?

Also, if you happen to have one for sale, please let me know.

I've got a 12 footer for sale, it's a 1992 double ender model. Good cond. with seats, oars, current registration and 6hp Tohatsu motor. $400 or I'll trade for a kayak or ?. Located in Brea.
