Default Windy Day at the MiD

    Hey guys,
Decided to go fishing this week since I'm on my spring break. Haven't fished for months not since Dec 31th. So on Tuesday I went to SARL with my cousin, but we got up late and made it to the lake around 10:30 or so. We were fishing on the big lake and noticed only a hand full people were out there. A family to the left of us were catching trouts left and right, while we tried everything in our arsenal. To no avail we got a BIG FAT Anywho, I went home thinking I wasn't satisfied with the results. I decided to head out to the MiD on a solo mission the very next day. I wanted to get this monkey off my back. As usual, I set my alarm for 4:40am only to hit the snooze button like 100x. Around 8:30, I finally woke up and packed up my gears. Left the house around 9:10, reached the lake around 10:30 (yep roughly the same time as Tuesday). I fished the channel at the entrance for some stripers till 12:30. The wind picked up, the water current was pushing my line back to shore so I gave up immediately. Decided to turn my attention to the other species. Change my setup to a wacky rig 5" senko watermelon purple flake(I don't remember the exact color/flavor) weightless on 6lb test mono. 2nd cast into it I caught this guy http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2240.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2241.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2242.jpg I'd say it was about a pound and half to 2. Then in my 8th cast I farmed a smallie which appeared to be around the same garth. 30 mins later I catch my 2nd smallie, http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2243.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2245.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2244.jpg 15 mins after that, this guy shows up http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2246.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2248.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2247.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2249.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2250.jpg 25 mins later http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2251.jpg , http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2252.jpg ,http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMG_2256.jpg Total fish count 4 and 1 farmed, 3 smallie and 2 large.
