letemfeelsteelgary: Congrats on an awesome fish!

I don't want to know where you caught it, but I am curious as to how close to visible structure you were fishing? Or were you just on a long straight-a-way? I find that I am always drawn to the bridges and gates, but not the in betweens so much.

    Thanks...

I was near a set of gates...but ended up more than a football field away from it as it stripped my drag downstream....only to be followed by MORE drag stripping upstream....still ended up more than a football field away from the gates....

the fish are everywhere....I've caught them in straights...siphons (below and above) gates (above and below) and just about anywhere in between..

just get ur time on the water and u’ll find what sems to be consistent for you in the regions U fish….

    Good luck,
    Gary
