    What are your favorite lures and jigs to use while surf fishing?

    What do want to target ?
    Halibut, Perch, Croakers, Sharks ?

    For halibut. Can't go wrong with Lucky Crafts. Anchovy and ghost smelt are good starters. They will cost you 18 to 20 bucks a pop though, but they produce.

    As a begining surf fishing newbie, i'm aiming for anything that'd bite the hook

    Only thing i've caught so far are string rays, butterfly rays, and sand sharks.. all off of squid.

    I'd like to catch halibut and i've heard LCs are the way to go.

    I just want to open up my selection of fish I can catch.

    screw LC's.... swimbaits is where its at. From perch to leopard sharks, you can do it all for a fraction of the cost and not cry when you loose one lol.

    if anyone needs some advice at the event hit me up, ill be wearing black/orange board shorts that look like my legs are on fire with 2 of my friends.. i wont be hard to find, im 6'1" 300lbs and the guides on my rod look broken (acid wrapped). I love fish and if i can help you i will, if not you better listen anyways because ill give you my advice on what I would do lol.
