new to this part of the state!!!!! any good spots???

From so cal.... im staying in lodi about 30 mins south of sac........... i really want to get on the water all i brought where my trout rods and gear!!! anybody have any spots i can check out????

I have family that live in Lodi. They mostly fish the rivers close by. I was up there about 2 months ago and didnt have much luck close by. I went to the Sacramento River to try and catch some salmon but had not luck. Only tried it one day and its pretty hard to catch them from shore. But if all you have is trout gear you could hit up Lake Camanche which isnt to far and theres trout i there. Im not sure if Hogan also has trout but i know Camanche does.
