Yellowstone 2011 (Part 3)
Mark was feeling up to fishing today so we awoke around 9 and headed out to our cutty creek. The day was a perfect 72 degree and sunny one. The fishing started off slow but picked up as the day wore on and we hiked to waters further and further from the road.
Mark opted for a stimulator w/ a royal wulff dropper. I mainly used a size 6 hopper and also caught fish on a p-adams, nymph, and PMD dry. We stuck together this day and were able to get photos right up until I dunked my camera (for the second time this trip!) We walked up river at least a mile, maybe more and found some very willing fish. Even the whitefish got in on the dry fly action!
