So imma start this by saying.....man, i do alot of fishing but surf is really hard and a whole new ball game.."thats y i love it "...

so i went out to alot of so0 cal beaches ...to try n get this skunk off me ....after the 8th or 10th trip( who counting)....i had one great day.

wind:3mph
tide:2ft to 3ft
water: brown with salad
started the day at gray light like always ....move north of the beach jus pounding the sand.....about 15min in i get this lil guy.http://fishinghotpage.com/forum4/images/attach/jpg.gif

feeling really good about how it started continue to work north... another 20min pass then "bam".....set the hook ....and it peals drag....... after a short 2min fight it comes unbutton ....WTF........

i ended the day with him......i just picked up a daiwa luna 253 to switch out my curado 200e5 .....hoping ill get more casting distance.....will let you guys kno how it works out

thanks for reading guys......and not i still haven't for got wat we talked about wingnut and bones....i hope i can get alil better at surf to hopefully one day be able to PM u guys out for a trip......keep those lines tight.

Won't get more distance with a Luna, drop your curado off with me and $50 and ill supertune and throw in ceramic bearings and a carbontex drag. I cast my e7 with one brake on and almost no spool tension.
