I have a 10ft Bassmaster boat that I use a trolling motor on that I bought at a garage sale. It costs me $20 every two years, My biggest problem is keeping the CF Numbers on the hull. Think I will go to removable cf plates. Once it's registered...it's pretty painless.

register under $100 bucks, not register ticket equals who knows how many 100's!!! you pick which one would you like? unless you just won the lottery I think most of us would like choice #1

I've learned (from watching friends) over the years to never give law enforcement any reason to pull you over.
Cars, boats. If you pounded a few beers it could get expensive.
