Default Sat July 2 Part Two @ Fairmount Park

Got home around 2pm from Castaic. Had plans to do some evening fishing with a buddy and drove to his place in Redlands. The temperature outside as my car showed was 103 degress at 5:05PM! We headed to fairmount park and drove around. Decided to finally fish on a dock by the "tank". Some kids were catching bluegills on a tree branch using bread. We got our baits in the water by 7pm. We had strike on worm and mackerel. but couldnt land anything. Haven't seen my buddy in a while it was just good to catch up. Another skunk but can't beat the excitement holding a fishing pole by the water!

    Epic day with double skunk

I went there this morning@ 6:30 and fished the same spot you did near the tank. A few bites but no hookups. My bait situation wasnt too good though, a half box of crawlers wont last too long.
