Default I'm moving to the Bay Area and I need help!!

    Hello all,

I am moving up to Berkeley for the next year or so and was wondering if anyone could give some pointers on the surf fishing up there and maybe some areas which would be suitable for productive fishing? I'm interested in all that the Bay has to offer an angler. I'm looking into perhaps buying a kayak. Any suggestion, I really would appreciate any help or advise?? If you dont want to go public you can pm me...

Hey... A little late on the game here but I just joined. Look up alameda rock wall, I don't know about a kayak because the tide rips through there and it's not exactly just off shore. My bf and I take an 18ft Klamath and fish for halibut. We do ok if the water isn't "deadliest catch choppy"
