Default SKC Big Thanks to the "Live" Auction Guides

The Striper King Classic wanted to thank the "Live" Auction Guides for donating their services to raise money for Valley-Wide Recreation & Parks and the Police Activities League, both of Hemet/San Jacinto. It would have been very easy for any one of them to ask for some money, but not one of the guides ever mentioned this.

If you ever need a guide, please consider using one of our classy guides that sacrificed in so many ways to bring a little happiness to some kids that are less fortunate. Art Hill not featured- arthillfishing@verizon.net. Here they are!

Default SKC Salutes Our Tremendous Volunteers!

These guys are the unsung heroes of the Striper King Classic. Without their tireless efforts in 100+ degree heat, we couldn't have done it. None of them got paid and none of them complained, as they knew the job had to get done.

I want to personally thank Jeff Leatherman's group from Valley-Wide Recreation & Parks that included Greg Worthington and his support staff. Also, Elizabeth and Katie Thompson of Hemet manned the Operations side of the event, handling ticket and raffle ticket sales. Hiroko M. Ogawa handled all of the photography the entire morning and afternoon. Lastly, Frank Catalano and Louis handled "everything and anything" for us to make sure that you guys got your raffle prizes on a timely basis.

Many thanks to all of our fantastic volunteers!!!

Greg Worthington in action, handing out one of the several quality raffle prizes from our valued sponsors. Great job Greg...........

Elizabeth (standing) and Katie Thompson (sitting), taking care of business in the event tent area. Thanks for handling all of the business!............

Default FNN "Stars" Join the SKC

The FNN was well represented at the Striper King Classic at Diamond Valley Lake. Here's a couple of the stars of the day.

Diamond Valley Marina management was nice enough to let us launch ahead of the general public. Gerald's noticing how different it is to launch in the dark............

Big Daddy invades the Super Raffle with one of nice sponsor prizes. He says, "Hey Greg, I'll hold those prizes for you. I'll take 'em off your hands"...............

Greg Worthington of Valley-Wide Recreation & Parks presents Olfishergal the Extreme Coleman cooler that keeps items cool for 6 days! No need to keep getting ice all day..............

Khanh, of KPN Tackle fame, presenting his handmade lures to the excited waiting hands of Jack Barton, 4th Place winner. Khanh donated over $200.00 of his KPN lures............

Bruce Watson, winning another Super Raffle prize. He had the hot hand during the raffle, winning another prize. This was the $150.00 swimbait rod from Daiwa.............

Gerald takes us full circle for the day, ending up with a beautiful striper at just over 6lbs. It's still a solid striper caught on a day where the winning fish scaled in at 16.17lbs!
