newport pier fishing 6/18/11

Headed out to newport pier about 8:30pm meeting up with my dad and the nephews for some macs. Man I had not been to the pier in years i mean years scenes I have a boat now, there was alot of people, all three side just getting macs left and righ,man it smells too! Just remind me why I don't fish there anymore.
it was ok I guess my dad likes it and the nephews love it, they're getting some bendo action it like two hooks two fish 4 hooks 4 fish it was wide open bite, a free for all. Oh! I forgot about the tangles oh man i would help the nephew with line tangles, that why i dont do pier fishing. so we left the pier at 11:30pm total fish count 60 macs

yeah, pier fishing blows. i don't have a boat, but i don't think i'll ever go back to pier fishing.
