2002 was that last year that a very great fisherman and friend told me that he caught his last corvina. The first thing that I noticed on the map when I got to soCal was The Sea. My wife and I went down there, it was September 2005, 98 degrees. Salton area is a really special place for me and one of my best friends that I met while living in California was born in Niland and lives currently in El Centro. Hopefully one day the corvina will be back!!! I think it's the fact that the salinity is through the roof, i.e. not enough fresh water goin in and unfortunately the pollutants from the N.R.Originally Posted by couesdeer77
