    Default Pudd gils

    Spent a couple hours at the Pudd for some bluegill action. Lots of fun...

    Looks like a 0.35 pounder? Maybe less? Still..good eating.

    There was an earlier post that said maggots were the hot bait. What did you catch them on?

    That's a nice fish! Did you get a length on this fish? How many did you catch? I may have to go check it out!

    I used a gold trout magnet jig head with a half jumbo meal worm attached to jig.I also use a small weighted bobber(Bass pro shop green/beads). Proper length from bobber to bait is the trick.Cast it out and twitch the bobber occasionally.Look out! Strikes are quick.Wait for bobber to sink and swim away then set hook.
