Hey Viners,
Hit the Vine Thurs. morning. Arrived at 4:30 to an empty lot. It was 38* about this time. By 6 there were about 10 cars. The was sun up when launching and the lake was like glass. Water temp. was 67*. The water is really starting to clear up finally. I tried drift fishing across the lake, "rock codding" for trout. I still meter lots of fish holding from about 30 ft. to the bottom. After several drifts and no luck, I tried trolling. I trolled up and down, back and forth, and only managed one 2 pndr. that hit a brown trout rap.
By 12, the sun was blazing down and the surface temp jumped up to 72* almost everyone I talked to had 1 fish. I don't think I seen anyone with two. The trout season is really starting to come an end now. It's about time for some night fishing.

Thanks for the report. How deep were you trolling?
Gonna try it tomorrow, we'll see how it goes. Last weekend it was good.
