    Default LA River

That's right you read correct..I said the LA river. Technically this isn't a city park lake but since it's urban fishing in the city I thought I'd post it here. So I've heard and seen videos on YouTube about people fishing the LA river for carp. Well I'm up for the challenge but I don't know what spots are safe to fish and where to park. Oh and for the record I would never eat anything that comes out of this river so it's definitely C&R. Anyway if you've got the 411 let me know...

Try the end of Shoredale Ave in Atwater Village. Take the little path right to the river.
Let us know how you do.

I heard that there's also Tilapia, Green Sunfish, some cats, and even bass?!?! in the LA river. Anyways do post a report on your outing.

I'm sure it has but I wasn't on here a year ago. Sorry man just trying to get some info, isn't what this forum is all about? Oh and props on that carp you pulled out of the lower Hansen lake.
