Default Trolling and more through memorial day- bendo with some sized TROUT!

    Three days of trolling/fishing
    *compiled reports*

Got the urge to troll again, after taking out clients the last few weeks. I knew of some hot spots that were producing around the lake from prior trips, and was able to get free to fish with some friends.
With the water temperatures moving slightly upwards, I knew that the trolling would be a little bit challenging then the week before...but still managed solid limits both of the days 3-5+lbrs. All of the days we worked the whole lake, and managed a few good trout schools..saw a few boats trolling, but majority seemed to be baiting down. One day it was drizzling in the morning coming to cloudy/sunny skies.

Today, on memorial day (thank you ALL US ARMED FORCES FOR THIS DAY), we all had a few hours to kill before all family/friend bbq's, so I asked the boys if they were down for some trolling...the photos down below tell the story. We started at 8am and finished by 2pm

Overall, we had a few "SOR" days, Slaying On a Rental (lol) Also played alittle bit with some new SS jigs and new lures both days

    LURES:
Rapala, R2S, Excel, SSJ (sean smoking jigs-multiple colors), all landed with Daiwa's new Megaforce Line/Leaders

    now for some pics!

local family joining us on the troll- lol

    Great job!

Kewly, you are a fish catching machine. No matter what lake they put you on!

Those are some huge trout that are still left in that lake!
Can you put on another clinic for us s0on!
When are those stripers/wipers gonna start going off?
They should be about 7-9 lbs now!

Thanks Brent! You should try for some of Irvines LMB's- they are a blast too..i dont post much about them...but when hooked up, they'll surely battle hefty-just like the Bass in other SoCal lakes. Cya

    Hitts- indeed some size/fighting trout..
some of the other bendo's we had on the Daiwa rods were a blast. Guys were all locked in~!
Wipers are already startin...Me and Mitz had a blast on them last year..
Just hope all fishermen/women remember to release the Wipers back (hybrid) so they get
fatter, and fight harder for the next fishermen/women.

I think Donny Spencer and his clients had the last biggest Wiper C&R'd to date last year...
double the size of the one in the Vine's tackleshop- and i've seen them "splash" a few times...

ps also a 55" Sturgeon was safely caught and released by local Vine and WW2 Vet, "ED" from shore..
the fight took an expected 30 minutes, and was witnessed by 3 other boaters last week...

    ask Jimmy in the tackleshop
