    Default Pittsburgh, PA Fishing?

    Anyone with info on fishing in the downtown Pittsburgh, PA area? Also what do they fish for there?

    I use to live around that area, smallmouth and largemouth bass. but i always caught more smallies. if you ever get a chance head to lake erie the smallmouth bass fishing there can be epic with smallies into the 5 pound range not being uncommon.

    Just got back from that area,the smallmouth are off the hook right now everywhere.i was about 40 min. from pitt. on the ohio river at the new cumberland dam.we had two 50 plus fish days fishing from the shore.grubs are the best bait but caught a few on ika's also....good luck!

    I fished around Monroeville last year for trout. Was decent out there. Lots of carp in the three rivers area. Not sure what your looking to fish for. Best thing to do is hire a guide.
