    Default Colorado River; Blythe CA

    Left straight from work last wednesday for some overnight at the river, 60 fwy to the 10, arrived around 6.30pm, set up at Mcintyer mobile home park; fishin for flats & channels, primary bait chicken liver, gold fish...get my lines in, bout to take a seat, first hit, real in a pound and a half channel; no more action, around midnight, take a nice drink, turn in. 6am go check my poles, one bears me a nice 2-3 pound flathead. My partner arrives around 10am, we change locations to the KOA mobile home park; Set up camp, threw in first line, turn to leave, bell a ringing...nice fight in the river current, i'm not trying to loose anything, 20lbs test. Pull in a 2 lbs channel... the short - pulled in two more channels biggest around 3lbs...camped...fished...drank...ate...luvin it...
