I'm still kicking myself in the butt for not making this assault but it's nice to know that our troops are so strong on the southern flank. Great times for sure. I also like the fact that some of the prisoners were NOT let go.....Thereby letting the enemy know that S.W.A.T meens business.

Robert, thanks again for the intel and it wasn't that hard for me to make the decision to head South. We all know that things change every single day out there, but I was hoping that they would be hanging around for a bit so we could get another crack at them. Everything worked out, now that's "teamwork." Hopefully, conditions will stabilized next weekend and we can all get together and fish!

It's mind blowing, but SWAT reports seems to get better week after week. How is it that's even possible??? Wow, speechless. A surf trip of a lifetime for most.

Yeah, insane structure John, some of deepest troughs and the widest trenches that I've ever fished.
Maybe the big swells this week will even more structure for us!

I pulled up that morning and a couple locals perchers (Kaipo and Mike) told me I better get on it and represent because our beach was being attacked by a highly trained killing squad. I worked down to take a closer look and recognized Wingnut from his post on here...I knew the beach was going to take many casualities...
Wingnut, I had met Robert a few weeks back in the same area I saw you guys at yesterday and we have fished it a few times. That's pretty much my local spot that I fish 3-5 times a week. I usually do pretty good there but have to say that I have never seen that beach taken by storm as it was yesterday!!! I spent more time watching you guys pulling them left and right then I spent fishing..it was a spectacular sight to see...Hope to get the chance to fish with you guys some time in the future..I will send you a PM with my contact info and whenever you are in the area...or within a 50 mile drive... ....let me know!!

What a session you guys had. If that indeed is the spot I've been to a few times, I dove it a couple weeks ago to see what the structure and troughs looked like. The place is loaded with hali's half buried in the sand. The troughs are bait magnets, everything gets pulled into them with the surge and loads them up. In about 6 feet of water I dove to pick up a dead lobster in one of these troughs and spooked the largest halibut I've ever seen in person, had to be 36-40 inches, scared the snot out of me. Stayed out for about 3 hours looking for WSB, but didn't see any. Lots of rays and leos in the shallows as well. Tight lines

Not sure if it's the same place... shoot me a PM, might be worthwhile to compare some notes and intel.

What's funny is how we were talking about WSB earlier in the week, and then you stuck one. Glad to see that your new project so far isn't drastically affecting your surf fishing ventures. Yeah, pretty funny how we were just talking about it Marc. Almost a premonition...
The new project doesn't go into full swing until the end of June or July. Until then, I'm trying to get in as much fishing time as I can before it demands all of my free time.
Sure would have liked to have you & Dad be a part of that amazing day, but there will be plenty of other times.

Arthur, you LC's and Ito's are much too beautiful to be getting salt water on! You've got the funkiest colors that I've ever seen, and damn if they don't catch fish too. Think I'm gonna start just bringing the surface iron from here on out, and see what i come up with. Let's just say I'm on a quest to discover if they work as good on the beach as on a boat. And, when something grabs hold of the iron, it's usually a good one. Props for going the extra mile to the promised land.

I'm sure if anybody can make the surface iron produce, it's you Mikey. You have proven it to me beyond a doubt.
As for the extra long drive... you know me, any time, any place.

Lately, its been insane. S.W.A.T's been pulling in massive amounts of fish, and the quality is great as well. Another great outing for the brotherhood. Looks like "Bad Karma" and "Pea Soup" are completely wide frikin open!

Arthur, I hope your upcoming business venture won't put you in the same fate as myself. I used to get out there on a regular basis, but the need to keep up with the Jones has put my favoite pastime on the shelf. I hope this doesn't happen to you my friend. Too many people live vicariously thru your reports. Not only that, your positive influence here on the board can never be replaced or even duplicated.

I couldn't make it to Sean's birthday party either. Would have been nice for us old timers to teach those youngsters a thing or two at the poker table.

We have to do what we have to do in this ecomony Phuong. I know you had to do what you had to do to provide your family with the best things in life. They're your family and they deserve the best. The fish will always be there, first things first. You know me buddy, when I want something and put my mind to it, I will have it and it will get done. It's not like I won't have any time to fish at all, just not in the capacity that i would like... I will definitely make some time to do what I love to do, even if it means missing an important business meeting or two. There will be plenty of S.W.A.T. members to pick up the slack.

We have the utmost respect for any beach that we fish. We are always friendly the locals and try to leave the smallest footprints when we are there. The best missions are the ones people don't even notice that you're there... until you're gone.

Unfortunately I have been MIA due to ongoing family issues and a work schedule change that put me at work on Saturday for the first time in 6 months. Then about 11 am or so, I get the usual "Beep Beep Beep" from Arthur!
Argh! But it made my day!

I sometimes think there is no way that this can be any better than the previous reports but then I saw some #'s! Flattie, 23,24,25,26,28,30 and WSB 29! What happened to #27 Guys?

I don't understand what i'm doing wrong, but I've bought a couple of LCs and they have just become paperweights for me. Maybe the areas where I'm fishing? Anyways, nice job with the swat attack as always.

There's a lot more involved than just throwing the LC's...
Do your homework, put in the time in the surf and you will get results.

thats how I was...I even lost a little bit of respect for them. What you gotta do is stick to it, be persistent, find structure and you'll catch a legal in no time. Trust me, dont give up on it.
