Default Tips on reinforcing soft swimbaits?

So I've been using a very soft swimbait lately and each time I use one after about 2-3 fish the head of the lure tears off. Is there a way to prolong the life of this weak swimmie? I was thinking about inserting a spring through the head of the lure might do the trick? Anyone have a better way to get more bang out a swimmie? Also, I've been T-rigging the swimmie.

Yeah toothpick or spring screw it together and put some Mend-It glue and it'll be good as new.
    Stuff works wonders.

Keitech. That brand is great but not durable.

    Yeah Keitech makes great things.
Never tried their swimbaits yet though.

Just try the mend it glue. It's made for re-melting broken plastics back together.
