convict and other places 7-27-07 thru 8-4-07 pics

Friday: got a late sart fished for about two hours at lake george caught 4 because i was a little pre occupied with the bear only about 20 feet from me.

we then left george and had lunch fished the owens for a litle bit and lost count how many i caught


Saturday: fished george again for a couple of hours and one native trout on a thomas bouyant and right as we were leaving we see the bear again eating some trout. went out later that evening for about an hour and caught 5 fish

Sunday: went to convict fish for about two hours with 1 fish and then found the sweet spot and landed 12 trout in about an hour and had to leave.
released
also caught several browns including a 2 pounder which i released.

all fish caught on mini jigs. no one else was catching anything and one guy gave me 9 bucks for a few of my mini jigs.
went home and then drove bakc up monday with my parents.

Monday: convict lake drove and slept most of the day but went out late for about two hours first hour got 3 fish fish then it went wide open and ended up with 13 then it got dark.

tuesday: got up early caught one on my first cast nice sized fish but then only got two little ones after

then at about 9 it went wide open and ended up with 22 in a couple of hours released all but seven which we ate for dinner and another guy offered to buy my stuff but did not have enough

then my mom hooks into a monster so my dad took over and when it got close to shore it looked like about an 7-8 pounder but broke the line right at shore and i weent in after it with the net and just bareley missed the beast.

wednesday: i sleep in and then float tubed around the jetty for an hour and a half for 6 fish on pb. then went in and had lunch went out later for anout two hours and got 4.

thursday: got up early with my bro snd some on mini jigs and then it got slow and he went walking. i then see a monster fish cruiseing and my first cast with a bright green mini jig i see hime inhale it and after about a 15 minute fight with 2 pound line i finally get him in and it weighed 6 pounds and 6 onces. Big fish of the week at convict.

then float tubeed silver for 6 fish.

friday: fished the jetty for about a half hour for 2 fish then to the creek for about 20 minutes and got two one on pb other on kastmaster. then went to june were my dad and bro each got one.

saturday: got up early for three fish then float tubed the jetty for several nice sized fish including a 2 pound 6 ounce fish. then went in had lunch slept then went to the owens for a few hours and caught fourteen fish in about 2 hours.




sunday: to windy to fish and left by 1000.
it was an excellent trip

Congratulations, those are some excellent looking fish, and some really great numbers.

It's a good thing you missed that big fish with the net. If a DFG warden saw you net it you'd get a big fine.

Were those your goods the bruin was decimating?
People, that's why you aren't supposed to keep food in your tent.

I'm sorry, it just sounded like the line had snapped BEFORE the fish was in the net.

You cannot net a fish if it isn't on the hook and line, even if you fought it for 24 hours. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

sorry i miss typed theres a step drop off in the water i sliped and fell then the line snapped after i tried netting it
